ST. LOUIS, April 10, 2019—Core & Main, a leading distributor of waterworks and fire protection infrastructure products in the U.S., has named Lawson Brown regional director for its Fire Protection business. He will be responsible for driving business growth in the East. He is based in Atlanta.

Brown brings more than 25 years of experience in profitable sales growth and strategic planning in a range of industrial markets. He joined Core & Main from HD Supply’s Facilities Maintenance group, where he served most recently as regional vice president of field sales teams for eastern U.S. multifamily, and prior to that, held the role of regional vice president of strategic and national accounts. Earlier in his career Brown was responsible for market channel development at The Home Depot Supply. He began his business career at General Electric Company, where he last served as a national account sales manager to Home Depot. Brown also served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps.
