Jackie Burkhardt

Jackie Burkhardt is vice president and deputy general counsel for Core & Main,
a leading distributor of waterworks and fire protection infrastructure products in
the U.S.

Burkhardt leads Core & Main’s contracting team, provides integral guidance for
the company’s acquisition projects and integration efforts, acts as the assistant
secretary to the board of directors, consults on corporate structure and public
company and securities matters, and supports the human resources, treasury
and risk, and real estate groups. In addition, Burkhardt oversees corporate
governance, securities and equity transactions. She has helped build a top-
notch legal team and played a key role in the company’s 2021 initial public
offering and listing on the NYSE.

Before joining Core & Main in 2019, Burkhardt was in private practice providing counsel to public and private companies ranging from 2-person startups to 4,000-employee public companies.

Burkhardt is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and her bachelor's degree from DePauw University. Burkhardt is a mentor for Management Fellows students at DePauw University She received the 2022 Corporate Counsel Award from the St. Louis Business Journal.
