The Alliance for PE Pipe is devoted to sharing the features and benefits of smooth walled pressure pipe to benefit the municipal water and wastewater industry. The Alliance conducts roadshow events and seminars, publishes articles and assists engineers and municipalities as they plan HDPE projects. Rusty Reeves, national director of fusible, is a current member.
The American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works-a fact that sets it apart from other organizations and makes it an effective voice of public works throughout North America. With a worldwide membership more than 30,000 strong, APWA includes not only personnel from local, county, state/province, and federal agencies, but also private sector personnel who supply products and services to those professionals.
The American Water Works Association is an international, nonprofit, scientific and educational society dedicated to providing total water solutions assuring the effective management of water. Membership includes over 3,900 utilities that supply roughly 80 percent of the nation's drinking water and treat almost half of the nation's wastewater. Total memberships represent the full spectrum of the water community: public water and wastewater systems, environmental advocates, scientists, academicians, and others who hold a genuine interest in water, our most important resource. Among our members are Jack Schaller, president; vice presidents, Yvonne Bland and Bill Driskill; as well as our regional vice presidents. Paul Thom, regional director, serves on their MAC committee.
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 26,000 firms, including over 6,500 of America's leading general contractors, and over 9,000 specialty-contracting firms. Core & Main's Don Taylor, senior regional vice president, and Yvonne Bland, vice president, are members.
The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) is committed to demonstrating how the design-build process saves money, saves time and ensures accountability on construction projects by bringing designers and builders to the table on day one. Among our members are Bob Vicini, national sales director; Yvonne Bland, vice president; Brian Coryell, manager of divisional sales; Matt Hutchins, senior manager of national accounts; as well as members of our national accounts management team.
The American arm of the Global Water Intelligence (GWI) shapes the direction of the North American market by focusing on the analysis and dissemination of the critical issues in the industry while being guided by the leading intelligence produced by GWI publications. This summit attracts a high-level delegation of key industry players. National leads for the summit include Yvonne Bland, vice president, and Glenn Hayes, director of business development.
The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is a non-profit, member organization that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry. Members represent over 30 countries and 22 fields of professional practice. IECA's diverse membership supplies a unique network of specialists who can solve a broad range of problems caused by soil erosion and its by-product-sediment.
The National Association of Pipe Fabricators (NAPF) works to bring together ductile iron pipe fabricators, vendors and distributors to promote, support and educate members about industry standards, trends and guidelines. Established in 1977, this non-profit organization boasts 28 member companies across four regions. Bob Vicini, national sales director, is a current member.
National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) is dedicated to helping close the information gap by serving as a credible resource for anyone seeking information about the water issues facing our nation today and in the foreseeable future, and the powerful and practical solutions that are available by way of the private water sector. Among our members are: Yvonne Bland, vice president and Glenn Hayes, director of business development.
The Institute for Public Procurement develops, supports and promotes the public procurement profession through premier educational and research programs, professional support, technical services and advocacy initiatives that benefit members and constituents since 1944. With over 3,000 member agencies representing over 15,000 professionals across the United States, Canada and countries outside of North America, the Institute is international in its reach.
The National League of Cities (NLC) is a resource and advocate for the nation's cities and their leaders. The organization, comprised of city, town and village leaders, focuses on improving the quality of life for constituents. With over 90 years of dedication to local municipalities, NLC has gained the trust and support of more than 2,000 cities across the United States.
The National Rural Water Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to training, supporting, and promoting the water and wastewater professionals that serve small communities across the United States. The mission of NRWA is to strengthen State Associations. District managers Andy Santi and Jerry Pope are current members.
NUCA is the National Utility Contractors Association - the leading trade association working solely for the utility construction and excavation industry in the United States. NUCA's nationwide network of state/regional Chapters and member companies represent utility contractors, excavators, suppliers, manufacturers, and other providers in the water, sewer, gas, electric, treatment plant, telecommunications, and excavation industries. Among our members are: Yvonne Bland, vice president; Bill Driskill, vice president; and Don Taylor, senior regional vice president.
The Plastics Pipe Institute Inc. (PPI) is the major trade association representing all segments of the plastics piping industry. PPI aims to advance the acceptance and use of plastic pipe systems through research, education, technical expertise and advocacy. Rusty Reeves, national director of fusible, is a current member.
The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) promotes and unites the steel plate fabricated products industry through standards development, education and communication. In 2014, the institute and association merged to better serve the industry through leading tank technologies, storied history, active advocacy and prominent programs. Bob Vicini, national sales director, is among its members.
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of 35,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations representing water quality professionals around the world. Since 1928, WEF and its members have protected public health and the environment. Among our members are Brian Coryell, manager of divisional sales; Kelly Farace, national sales account manager; Bob Vicini, national sales director; Yvonne Bland, vice president, as well as members of our national accounts management team.
The Water Collaborative Delivery Association, formerly the Water Design-Build Council, is a not-for-profit corporation, established as an educational industry advocate for the value of collaborative delivery methods for water and wastewater infrastructure projects; and to promote best practices in design-build and CMAR procurement and implementation through education and outreach. Among our members are Bob Vicini, national sales director and Yvonne Bland, vice president, who also serves as the co-chair of the organization's communications committee.
Water and Sewer Distributors of America is a dynamic organization setting a new standard for the water and sewer distribution industry. Led by an experienced group of knowledgeable professionals, WASDA offers expertise in diverse areas ranging from legislative developments to environmental compliance and more. Among our members are: Bill Driskill, vice president; Yvonne Bland, vice president; Jack Schaller, president, Waterworks business, as well as our regional vice presidents.
